Industrial Fabricating

Designed and fabricated an aluminum hopper for a seafood company. Oyster shells are loaded in the top and funnel out onto a conveyor belt where they are cleaned and put in a tank of water for spats to strike on. Then they are dumped in the river to rebuild oyster reefs.

Fabricated a replacement tripod base and built a new crane from two bent cranes. I also machined Delrin bushings to take up slack in the tripod and keep the crane moving easily. This crane is used at an oyster farm to pick up oyster cages when ready for harvest.

Designed and fabricated a clip on bucket extender for moving light, but bulky material at a local small farm.
